Volunteering and getting involved

You can join in in many ways: in a youth movement, a sports club, your neighbourhood, a food bank or the youth council. Getting involved helps others and gives you something back too.

Why

You have a free Wednesday afternoon and feel like doing something useful. Where do you start?

A society does not run on laws and governments alone. It also runs on people who volunteer: in clubs, in the neighbourhood, for those who are struggling.

Even as a young person you can already do a lot, with a few hours a week or with a single action. When you know which forms there are, you find something that suits you more easily.
